Shopping, is for something you already have, but you want more, while if you purchase something because you need it as daily quench, it's neccessity, just like skincare, agree?

After more than 20 years, bro brought parents over to HK for a short trip. Dad is totally in his happy self, I can't help but posting this picture up from bro's fb.

Almost 3 months didn't go home, no wonder mum called and threw all the hints to get me home. Since big bro also will be back home the same week, I made a trip back home last weekend & I had lovely time spent with family & friends!

Had some lunch & dinner with parents, and went to the "most happening" mall in JB - Tebrau City. Spent a good few hours there choosing skincare for mum & blusher for sis.

Mum having some concern on Japan's product thus she has become doubtful on Shiseido, and decided to switch to other. So I get her a good loads of Estee Lauder.

Sing K with sis. Chose lots of Ah Mei's songs I think beer can definitely help to soothe those sore throat, haha!

Did my nails with Angela, finally some different outing with her! Everytime I go back JB, our itenerary will be breakfast at Kim at 9am, and we finally got sick on Kim's roti bakar & milo, and decided to go for nails instead!

The manicurist had some FUN time with my foot, the rough skin on my foot is all over the towel, siok!

Should I say it's a painful trip to Hong Kong? Not to the wallet, but I was physically crippled almost the whole time in Hong Kong after a good attempt to hike to the infamous peak!

Bro stay just around the foot hill & he suggested a morning hiking trip on my 2nd day,so I said ok, why not? (in very very ambitious spirit!!) and hiking in my oxford after a good 45 minutes....

I should have say no to hiking.... OR I should have wear proper shoes maybe.

But then, thing is, you won't see me wearing sports shoes outdoor coz walking in sports shoes is so "tourist", and it's hard to match with my attire. I will only go travelling in ballerina, or one-inch boots, or 2-inch super comfy heels.

Huh...still another 1.5 km after 30minutes??

The whole of last week was quite busy catching up with all the old friends. Choi Choi, Tze Lin, Siti, Pek Sian, Lolli, Tracy. As usual to have gossip exchange with more gossip, haha, life will be boring without these spices.

Went window shopped with Vvy & Rubing on Saturday, stupid heels was silently killing my toes, I wish I can walk bare foot, but I was in Mid Valley, aiks.

Another Friday coming tomorrow. House warming at collegue's place at Mont Kiara, pot luck this round and I'm going to bring my current favourite apppetizer, potato salad, yum!

Suddenly I feel like getting a watch, to fill up my empty wrist of 8 years, and I have my eyes lock on this one - Toy Watch Skeleton Rose Gold, limited edition, gorgeous!

Retail at around 2.3k. Hmmm, somehow I would rather spend it on Warehouse dress, haha!

*Update: went to have a look at the watch, and it's super ugly at actual size. Moral of the story, never ever trust ANYTHING you saw on the magazine, EVER!

So we have been watching or reading website talking about the marvellous view of Mauritius, the blue sea, the white sand, and it makes people thinking Mauritius as a paradise, but really?

This small island is the size of Singapore but having merely 1.2 million people. The happening place is only, well, the beach area, but down town are basically dead.

The whole island is planted with sugar cane, rum ingredient.

Reached Mauritius after a 8-hour flight from Singapore and the first car we saw parking at the hotel entrance, is no other than........

....MyVi!! Seriously Malaysia boleh, hahahah!

One funny thing within the stay is the indian couple I met when I just arrived the airport.

They are coming to Mauritius for honeymoon, and the funny part is, Mauritius cuisine = Indian cuisine. So they have flown all the way from Malaysia, spent Rm3K on the ticket to a not-so-happening-beach to eat briyani, and seeing all the Indian faces around!

Will they curse the island or not, I wonder, haha!

Flew over to Johannesburg after 4 days stay in Mauritius. Not many South Africa pictures taken, coz we didn't go out, was warned by the local about the robbery that happened around the neighbourhood, so during the few days stay there it's only hotel, office, hotel & office.

Had one nice dinner nearby hotel on our 2nd nights, totally kick ass ribs & onion rings. Best onion rings I've had thus far!
