Coincidently every year when it comes to August I will be assigned on business trip, or some other reason that keep me away from attending andy/ rachel's birthday celebration.

In 2009, I couldn't make it to Rachel's birthday because I will be in Australia, so I pre celebrate with her;

In 2010, I couldn't make it to Rachel's birthday again because I will be in Nigeria;

In 2011, I nearly couldn't make it because I was asked to go Shenzhen, but it was last week.

But generally I prefer a smaller group celebration so we able to chat. So together I called along V to Bistro 42 at Bangsar Village II to celebrate for Rachel in advance & to post celebrate for Andy for his birthday fall on 3rd Aug.

Bistro 42 used to be where Banquet located, but Banquet closed its door earlier this year....aiks......another restaurant I like closed down....why everytime like that one?

When I was back in JB last month,I had dinner with Freeman for my belated birthday

He is the only friend I have whom I speak to in teochew/hokkien,in phone call, sms, or facebook comment!It feel really fun & ah pek to speak to each other in dialects but I kind of like that weird feeling that makes us special!

Had german food at this restaurant in Johor Jaya, where the Lavender bakery shop used to be, food is quite good, the smoked lamb salad is something different, and I like! Definitely deserve an encore!

Finally went over to Shenzhen by MTR at 9pm, reached hotel around 10:40pm just in time to tuck in the bed for tomorrow's day-long meeting.

Went to 少年宫 for book shopping and bought quite some books, I'm a happy girl!

Bought some cute sticker too! I'm quite a sticker lover myself since young, and always couldn't resist cute sticker, and I stick them all over my card! Eg. Credit card, membership card, mascara, tupperware...and the list go on and on and on....

Had dinner with two colleagues on Tuesday night, Hunan cuisine, spicy food, my favourite!

Flew back on Wednesday with Cathay & flight delayed by almost 3 hours -_-|||  Luckily the nice seafood spaghetti & wine they served compensate it, and thank goodness my patience level has always been high.

Have been listening to their song since I was 14 or 15, and my very first encounter with them is "Zombie" (I bet that is also the same song everybody get hit from the album "Now that's what I call music") , and since then I secretly have an inseparable relationship with them.

And so when Ally ney mentioned about their concert at Spore last week, we bought the ticket! Actually I was a little hesitated coz the ticket we bought are at different seats, but heck Ney is a damn good negotiator who finally talked me into going and we went & we enjoyed, very very much!

Went into Spore in my newly bought top from an online store, love the sharp blue in chiffon, perfect for BBQ too! Mum was quite puzzled seeing me wearing T-shirt & shorts while calling for a cab from home. I said " This is the concert-friendly outfit "

Staying in JB really do have a good advantage because it's so near to Singapore I practically consider Singapore as another Taman rather than a country.  

But one thing I still want to mumble about Singaporean is their kiasu-ness. We really did enjoy the concert very very much, till the lights up at 10pm!!

10pm, that's merely 90 minutes since it started at 8:30pm! Singaporean didnt even attempt to encore and they all just stand up and leave the stadium (It's at Kallang btw). What are rushing for? MRT? Or another german beer? We are really not sure. Can't stop mumbling about it over yet another beer and we are still very much in cranberries mode we were singing at the restaurant, LOUD! (and nobody is looking at us leh!)

Next concert to look forward is none other than....... Faye Wong!

My yearly bangkok trip really bring me lots of good buy at places where you least expected.

Bought this cute porm porm skirt at Siam Square for Rm25, with MNG top on a casual Friday.

Good thing about this skirt is the "cutesyness" but bad thing is any slightest wind can blow it up! I have to hold it tight on my way out for lunch to avoid becoming Marilyn Moore!
